But the most beautiful dandelions in the world still grow in Juneau. No matter how grimy the town may look in a late March thaw – and that is pretty awful, the mountains remain and they are always magnificent. By late May everything is green and glowing, come rain come sun. The earth burgeons in this cool, green, rain forest country, in the spring and summer.
